Overview
Are you excited to contribute as a back-end developer (Python) to the international never-ending fight against spam? Do you want to build filtering systems, develop archiving and quarantine functionality, and create great full-stack internal tools? Join our international email security team and work from our office in the centre of Bucharest!
We have a Linux + nGinx + Python + MySQL stack with Angular and Bootstrap frontend, with several other agents in order to support an autonomous, self-correcting AI for email filtering. Additionally, we've built services implemented with SaltStack, Redis, Celery, S3 and other AWS services. We are on the journey to microservices, and from continuous integration to continuous delivery.
Responsibilities
You’ll work as part of a cross-functional development team using the latest tools and agile techniques to solve complex problems at scale. You'll be involved in developing, delivering and supporting features from start to finish within a team of peers in a relaxed place to work and encouragement to grow your career.
Qualifications
A passion to write great Python code.
You're comfortable writing big nasty joins or working with eloquent ORMs - we use SQLAlchemy.
You're happy participating in code reviews and enjoy giving and receiving constructive criticism
You love the command line
You understand source control - we use Subversion/Git
You’ve learned that test automation helps you sleep at night
Nice to have:
Familiarity with email related security systems (DNSBL, DKIM, SPF, DMARC)
Familiarity with creation/use of RESTful APIs and web frameworks (Flask)
